  • Would you like to become a member of a committee that plans fund raising events for ASPIRO?  We could use your help.  Committees usually meet once a month for several months.  Help to develop the event and run it the day of.  Committees are available for the Clancy Caper Golf Outing, which is held the third Monday in June at NorthBrook Country Club; Fall Dinner Event, which is held the end of October; the Annual ASPIRO Awareness Walk which is held in September at our Stiles Road location.  It is a great awareness and family event!  Come join the fun!
  • Do you have a special skill that you could share with our clients in our leisure room?  We are looking for new and interesting activities or talents to share.  Monday - Friday 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., or Monday & Thursday 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.; here at ASPIRO.
  • We can always use more help with our Thursday night activities.  (See page 2 of the volunteer application.)
  • If you enjoy swimming, we can use your help.  Assist with swim class at the YMCA every Wednesday, October to May at the YMCA-Howard from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.
  • We would like to have clients more involved in our community; therefore if you have a great idea for a community outing, and can help out with setting that up, our recreation department is very interested in pursuing this.  Monday - Friday between 9:00 a.m. & 3:00 p.m.

How to Get Involved!

ASPIRO needs volunteers for both long and short-term opportunities.  All volunteer time counts as community service hours.  Our normal business hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Some volunteer opportunities are available on the weekend and at night.

Please complete this application form or contact us and include your name, address, phone number and e-mail address.  Upon receipt of your application and background check, our volunteer coordinator will have the manager from your area of volunteer interest arrange a time for an interview.  If you have any questions, please contact Sheri Sorenson – Special Events/Volunteer Coordinator at (920) 593-4348 or ssorenson@aspiroinc.org.

We welcome hearing from you!
