Residential services

The purpose of Residential Services is to make living in the community a reality.  We will provide the support needed to allow a person with a disability to live in his or her own residence.  Staff hours are built around the participant's schedule.

Eligibility

Anyone 18 years of age or older with a developmental disability such as Autism, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, or seizure disorder is eligible for this program.  People with mental health issues are also eligible.  Staff are hired based on individual support needs.

We accept public or private assistance to satisfy the fee for these services.

Placement Process

Each individual interested in Residential Services will go through a placement process.
We will work with you to make this transition a success!
  • Secure funding
  • Complete a functional assessment
  • Staff recruitment.  We encourage the participation of others in the hiring and retention of the staff who will provide the support.
  • Locate a residence
  • Receive on-going support
  • Evaluate progress

Teaching Life Skills

Staff teach and support individuals in areas such as:
  • Housekeeping
  • Shopping
  • Meal Planning/Preparation
  • Health and Safety
  • Laundry
  • Recreation and Leisure
  • Religious Opportunities
  • Transportation
